Yes on Prop 37 Giveaway – Vita Spelt

This is one of a few giveaways about to come your way – all in the support of labeling genetically modified foods (GMOs) and Prop 37!

We need to raise money to tell the truth about the dangers of GMOs — on TV commercials, billboards, etc. — and get Californians out on November 6th to VOTE YES on Prop 37!

As you might have heard, the opposition is spending over a million dollars a day to saturate the airways with misinformation and lies. Lucky for us, companies like Vita Spelt are partnering with people like me to help raise even more money for Prop 37.

Vita Spelt makes an excellent line of organic spelt products – I am a huge fan of spelt because it has a softer texture than whole wheat, but is still a whole ancient grain that hasn’t been overly processed.

Our only hope for getting genetically modified foods labeled in this country is in California right now. After the lack of knowledge and awareness I witnessed while talking to the leaders of our country – I know this more than ever now. Any effort to bring a federal mandate will start with the states doing this on their own and California is closer than ever.

Good Luck!

  6. “I melt, you melt we all melt for Spelt!” (sorry, that is as good as it gets when trying to rhyme with ‘spelt’). Would love to win this giveaway!

  7. Thanks for such an informative blog. I’m already a subscriber and have been informing friends and family in California of the importance of passing Prop 37.

  8. I just subscribed, but I have been reading your blog for a few weeks now. I have been slowly learning all about what is in our food system, and I am trying (slowly but surely) to make changes to my diet and eating habits. I haven’t “deleted” all foods containing GMOs yet, since I started learning about this recently, but thanks to the information you are providing, plus my own research I have changed a lot of what goes into my body. I can’t even think of eating anything from Mcdonalds, or Burger King or Wendys or any of those fast food chains. The thought of eating anything from them disgusts me. Thank you!

  9. I’m a subscriber & shared the giveaway on Facebook. Our family is trying to go GMO free and your blog is an invaluable resource!

  10. I am new to the non-processed foods world, and as a result, have been cooking pasta for the first time! (It never seemed like a healthy option before.) The spelt pasta would be perfect for the vegan avocado mac ‘n cheeze and butternut squash casseroles on my recipe queue. Thank you for all you do to provide healthy, delicious food options for us!

  11. I tweeted, and shared on Facebook and subscribed !!! Love you and the awareness you are bringing to the people who all deserve to know what is in our foods!!

  12. I am supporting Prop37 from Hawai’i by posting YouTube ads, pictures, and facts almost daily…

  13. I live in CA and you can bet I am voting. Thanks for all your work on this!!! You ROCK!
