Food Babe's Banana Nut Waffles
- 4 eggs slightly beaten
- 2 mashed ripe bananas
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup water
- 1 cup almond flour
- ¼ tsp sea salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ cup walnuts chopped
- 4 tbsp maple syrup for serving
- Preheat waffle iron
- Whisk together the eggs, banana, water and vanilla
- Add almond flour, cinnamon, walnuts and baking soda into the egg mixture
- Grease preheated waffle iron with cooking spray or coconut oil (it depending on what type of waffle iron you have)
- Spoon batter onto hot waffle iron
- Cook until golden or timer goes off (~4mins)
- Serve hot with a dash of maple syrup, coconut oil or butter
