½ cup strong coffee (alternative: 2 shots espresso)
Instructions
In a small pot, add the milk, pumpkin puree, spices, vanilla, and maple syrup. Heat over medium heat until hot, but not boiling. Stir frequently.
Add ¼ cup coffee or one shot of espresso to two mugs. Pour 8 ounces of the milk mixture into each mug and stir to combine. Top with whip cream, if desired.
