He is an Attending Physician and Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. Dr. Aviv is a former Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Director, Division of Laryngology and Medical Director, Voice and Swallowing Center, College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University. Dr. Aviv is the inventor of the air-pulse throat sensory testing technology called FEESST and a pioneer in the development of unsedated upper endoscopy. Dr. Hyman is a practicing family physician, a nine-time #1 New York Times bestselling author, and an internationally recognized leader, speaker, educator, and advocate in his field. He is the Director of the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine. Dr. Amy Shah is a specialist in Allergy & Immunology and Internal Medicine. She pursued her medical training at Columbia University Medical Center, Beth Israel Deaconness/Harvard Medical School, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and Cornell University. Prior to graduating with honors in research, she worked in the Channing Laboratory at Harvard University looking at the health effects of heavy metals on the body.
