    2. Try it again using all uppercase letters on Amazon. HOLIDAY30. I tried both ways and it had only worked with uppercase. Hope that helps;)

    1. You can only order 1 book at a time and can’t get free shipping with it, so you get the 30% discount + shipping and handeling of approx $5.95 and tax…

      1. Yes, you could order multiple books and get free shipping. I did. The percentage was only good for the most expensive book, and free shipping still applied to your total order being a minimum of $35 with items that qualified for free shipping, just as it normally does.

    2. The 30 % off coupon only worked by entering the code HOLIDAY30 using all uppercase letters on Amazon. I tested lowercase and it would not apply until entering every letter in uppercase. Hope that helps;)

      1. HOLIDAY30 upper case only. My total with tax $15.05 It worked for me . Looking forward to Feb 10th.

  1. Dear food babe. I pre order two books from barnes &noble .I tried to pre order with your code HOLIDAY30, and I could not apply your code to my order after I already pre order two books . I just wanted to buy one more for my family. Neither Barnes& noble would not accept your code. I never used your code with the other orders. This was the first time I used your code and it did not work . I also tried Amazon I had a hard time signing up to buy, The Food Babe Way book. There site rejected my Zip code So i will try again. Think You for all your help with food. Evie

    1. Thank you so much for your support Evie. Amazon’s code is “HOLIDAY30″ – all upper case and Barnes and Noble has another code – ” BFRIDAY14″ – hope that helps!

  2. Hi Vani. I have pre-order for 2 books with Amazon. But I ordered before the discount code was out out. Will I still get the discount when the books are sent? Also I sent an email to you via response to Foodbabe.com. Can you let me know you got it and respond back. Really appreciate it. I love your Blog and have forwarded you emails to many friends and family to subscribe.

  3. I am pre-ordering one print book on Amazon, and I am trying to use the HOLIDAY30 discount code at checkout, but the site is saying:

“The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.”

    Any insight?

  4. I am also being told that the discount won’t work on this purchase. I tried it with the Kindle, the audio, and the book. It’s kind of frustrating. Guess I would rather know if it is good or not so I can proceed. I haven’t ordered anything with this promo code either.

  5. Dear Food Babe. I did place an order for two books with Amazon This took me one hour with phone asst. with Amazon because I order Two books amazon applied free shipping. Amazon did not apply a discount when I had pre order and check out. I type in your code to my order for one book. I did apply your code HOLIDAY30 . Amazon will call me back on monday to see if they can help me with the food babe code . For 30% off on one book. I have already pre order two books at barnes & noble before I new about your discount. 7. Hey Vani,

I just pre-ordered your book and the code did work. Thank you so much and am not sure why some people might be having a problem with the code. I entered the code after I clicked checkout and typed the code in “Gift cards & promotional codes” box.

    Thanks
    Abhi

  8. Hi there Vani.

I was wondering if your book has been translated into Japanese?
I want to give my friends wife this book.
She is in hospital and in bad condition but i believe that eating right can give the body the right “tool” to fight most of our diseases.

    Best regards,
    Joakim.

  9. The 30 % off coupon only worked by entering the code HOLIDAY30 using all uppercase letters on Amazon. I tested lowercase and it would not apply until entering every letter in uppercase. Hope that helps;)

  10. Just tried B&N, and the Promo code is invalid on “products available for pre-order.”
    I try Amazon….
    Hmmm

  11. Order went through Amazon with the HOLIDAY30 promo code. Not sure where you got the $14.93 price, Vani; I paid $19.81. Can’t wait to read it and see what other goodies you have for us!
    Thanks

      1. I ordered the hardcover, Vani, so all’s well. Amazon charged $4.98 shipping, which makes the difference. Looking forward to reading it!

  12. Hi Food Babe,

I remember you mentioning recording an audio version of your book in one of your newsletter emails. Will that be available for preorder soon?

Thanks and keep up the useful healthy information!

    – Steve

  13. No problem for me ordering it on Amazon and using the HOLIDAY30 code. Grand total with tax and shipping $19.87. Vani, can’t wait until February to receive it. I know it’s going to be good. Thanks for the discount code. Keep up the great work.

  14. I was able to get the discount today! I only paid $17.01 including shipping and tax. I’m very excited!

  15. Just ordered the book from Amazon with discount and prime for $12.02. Can’t wait to get the book!

  16. Would you consider running the FoodBabe way promo again this holiday? I missed the holiday30 advert!

  17. The haters are going to hate. Sad thing is, they also inhabit this earth. I am an anti vaxxer and I get continually stocked on my fb page. I am hopeing now that they cannot see anything because of my settings. I cannot believe how ignorant and obnoxious and rude these “people” are. It makes me sad.

  18. The problems I have are with chemicals used on organic produce but I never see you giving them equal time? For instance, calcium chloride, used to prevent fruits from splitting skins, causes me to throw up everything I have recently eaten, and the fungicide sprayed on commercial organic produce stored in packing/warehouse facilities gives me canker sores in my mouth. I can’t be the only one with this type of problem, in fact I know I am not, but I can’t find any research supporting the reactions I have, and no one seems to want to put organic foods to the same scrutiny as is being used on other ingredients. Why is this?

  19. Vani…I just watched Food Inc. for the first time…and I’m totally disgusted though I wasn’t entirely surprised. I was so repulsed, the film actually made me cry at times! We the People need MORE truth published in the media so that our voices can be louder! I am writing this post to urge you to consider doing your own show/series on TV to further publicize these big corporate crooks and unveil the truth behind our unregulated food industries! We want to know more about the unhealthy and unnatural ingredients big companies put in our food! I know you’d be an excellent candidate to put this info on the air with your investigations and your passion! I wish I could help, too, but how do u uncover the things that u do? I hope u consider it! 🙂

  20. Hi Vani,
So they’ve put a few wretched internet trolls to work in order to try frightening you with slovenly street talk. Don’t give their pathetic murmurings any of your time. They come from the barren brains of grotty people sustained by contemptible organizations. Just brush them off as you ardently press on with your virtuous crusade against perversely industrial human feeding methods. With your valiant leadership let us join hands in multitudes to bring mankind back to sustenance from Earth’s original bounty of nutriments. One day at a time let us rouse that sense of wholesomeness inherent in all people such that every kind of food manipulation is repudiated. May everyone come to realize that the selling slogan “new and improved” is an abhorrent misnomer when it comes to foodstuffs. Prior to the chemical revolution of the mid twentieth century, foods were essentially still in their perfect, unsullied state. They were still the wondrous outcome of hundreds of millions of years of natural selection. “Food laboratories,” which could never rival the balanced universal complexity of natural selective processes, produce freakish Frankenstein monstrosities. Plant and animal genetics should never have been tampered with. May we, with your help, steer Mothership Earth back onto a safe and healthy course.
