I almost let corruption win.
When I started revealing how big food manipulates us, I thought everyone would be happy. And most people were.
But what about the companies we demanded change from? They were mad. And before I knew it, I became the target of a national smear campaign.
They called me a quack, a fearmonger, and a pseudoscientist. And they threatened me.
All I wanted to do was show people how to live a healthier life, and there I was. Getting death threats.
I became a mom, and I didn’t know whether it would be safe for me and my family. So, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to publish my new book…

All a person has to do to see the truth in your claims is compare the ingredient labels on packaged food sold in the United States to labels on the same packaged food sold in most of Europe. I am proud and happy to support the work you are doing, Vani. Pre-ordered your book today.
Never stop writing Vani! There are several people who have given into the harsh comments and threats. Companies and corporations don’t want the public to know how toxic the ingredients are used in foods in the US. Or the people that buy the products don’t like hearing about it and choose to not believe how harmful these foods can be. They have heard time and time again about the ingredients in the foods but still choose to buy the products.
Hopefully a change can be made. This needs to get further out there. We need to make the people in the US realize this just like how many people who buy products in the UK and across Europe.

No doubt the people issuing death threats are liberals. That’s the norm for them.
The only way things change is if we speak up. Someone has to be brave enough to start the conversation. Thank you for being so strong in the face of so much intimidation.
It might have been understandable for companies to put chemicals in back in the 50’s before we knew the serious side effects but things are long overdone for better regulation. Companies know better now but they just don’t care as long as we don’t speak up.
Their bottom line is shelf life and sales.
