One Of My Biggest Regrets. Here’s What I’m Doing About It Now!

I hope by now you’ve heard the big news. I’m launching my own product line called Truvani and my first product is officially available to purchase next Monday… Yeah!!!

I chose our first product very carefully. I wanted it to be something that I already use and love. I wanted it to be something that was nutrient dense and could benefit health. I really wanted it to be something that could help a lot of people.

These are some of the many reasons why I chose to create the first ever USDA certified organic, glyphosate residue-free turmeric supplement.

Turmeric is gaining popularity and you might think that I chose to create a  turmeric supplement because it’s “trendy”… but that has nothing to do with it.

Turmeric has been a normal, everyday part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in one of the only Indian families in Charlotte, North Carolina. Turmeric was a staple in the many masalas my mom has made over the years… it’s stained our counter… and fresh turmeric root was often in our grocery shopping cart (even though most people I knew outside of my family probably didn’t know what it was!)

Turmeric is at the foundation of Indian cooking and culture that has been passed down to me from my mother, which I hope to pass on to my daughter as well. I dug up some old family photos to help share with you how my love for turmeric has grown in recent years…

You may be wondering how taking turmeric helps you. So, let me break down some of turmeric’s remarkable qualities…

First, it is anti-inflammatory*. The active ingredient in turmeric is curcumin, a potent anti-inflammatory that helps maintain healthy inflammation responses*. This is my personal favorite reason why I love this product and plan to take it daily. It is also beneficial in promoting overall joint and heart health, while supporting weight loss and helping the body produce more radiant and healthy-looking skin*. Turmeric’s powerful antioxidant properties fight excess free radicals in the body that can damage cells and diminish health*.

As you can see, there is a lot to love about turmeric! It helps me feel healthy and vibrant – and I plan to continue taking it for the rest of my life.

Remember this… at Truvani we believe in real food without added chemicals, products without toxins and labels without lies.

My journey here at Truvani has led me down a path that I never dreamed I go. I am finally able to create the same healthy products that I always wanted to see in stores, not just for myself – but for you too. My ultimate goal is to give you the tools you need for a healthy and organic lifestyle, allowing you to look and feel your best – for life.

Next week, we start out with the official launch of our Organic Daily Turmeric Supplement.

    1. Haha I was about to say the same thing. It’s pronounced Ter merick…but many people say tumorick….leaving out that r…which is not only incorrect but sounds like a kind of cancer! Please Vani,,,say it right…and best wishes on your new business. Hare Krishna!

  1. I’ve always pronounced it “Toomerick”, but then I lived in England and India as a little girl.
Thrilled to bits about your product launch, Vani! Wishing you great success!!

  2. My cousin with whom I share so many ideals, sent me your link. She swears by your knowledge & commitment.
I agree, much of what you have on this site is in line with my anti-big pharma. However, your endorsement of bacon is repulsive.
ANY source of meat is supporting an INSIDIOUS industry of abuse & subjugation of sentient creatures.
We can derive healthier protein sources from plants & grains.
Eating meat & dairy is buying into the propaganda fed to us by the very industries you say you are against.
Small farmer, or not…. methane gas emissions, the brutality of ‘artificial insemination’ (rape), transport to slaughter houses & the horrific practice of electric prods forcing animals forward to the stench of murder & mayhem is NOT part of a healthier, ethical future.
I ask you to please reconsider your support of these industries.
People trust you & your message. Advertising your support for such dangerous products is irresponsible.
I admire your quest for truth & knowledge in this world plugged in to propaganda & profit, however, your message would be much more pure & effect great change if it ascends to a higher platform of philosophy.
    Thank you.

    1. A lot of people can’t eat grains due to health reasons. I agree with you that most animal farming practices are sickening and almost all of these animal products are in our grocery stores. But there are humane and caring farmers out there. You can find locally raised, small farms where this is the case. I live in Idaho and I have found a coop that sources local, humane, well care for meats. It is more inconvenient and expensive than a grocery store, but I want to eat this way for health and to support these farmers. I also think it is important to stretch our meat so that we are not eating so much of it. Most of our diet should be plant based. I truly believe humans are designed to eat meat, but we don’t need a lot of it. So let’s not throw the baby out with the bathwater and say all meat is bad. Let’s instead source from local, high-quality farms, and eat less of it.

  3. I am so excited and looking forward to my tumeric to arrive.
Also I’m so hoping that Probiotics will be your next additive to your wonderful business of putting us on the road to good health. Thank you Vani for all you do and all that you are to so many people. Blessings! With Love <3

  4. I thank you for caring about the food industry and the “poison” allowed in our foods. This is a very exciting venture you are taking. We need more like you. There are those who care but they do not know how the method to proceed. You are the answer to our prayers. I am sorry for the critism you received. Hopefully with being able to purchase healthy foods people will be happier and stop all the negativism. Positive people are happy people. Thank you, thank you

  5. Thank you for giving us how when it comes to SAD…the standard American diet. ..so glad for your strong spirit and your indomitable determination!

  6. I applaud your goals, knowledge, zeal and ideas. I enjoyed watching the two videos. I have read your emails off and on. Every time you use swear words, whether they have *** or anything else, the email is gone. You have such high ideals that you do not need to lower yourself by using swear words. I read another comment by someone who had the same concern and they were belittled by others for making her comment. I am sure I will be too but I have probably lived longer than they have.

My primary care physician (Medical doctor at Kaiser) strongly recommended taking Tumeric for pain and I have been taking it for a few years now with good results.

We’ll see what happens to and with my comments!

  7. My first comment was actually a question. Perhaps it wasn’t accepted because it was followed by a question mark. So here is my comment . . .

I am concerned about most imported turmeric being fumigated. Perhaps I shouldn’t be concerned. It would be nice to know if yours is imported/and or fumigated. Any comments about “fumigation” gratefully accepted.

  8. Looking forward to seeing what is offered. Great idea for those of us that want to eat healthy. My only concern will be the cost as being senior citizen. Have learned a lot from Vani as she has been helpful.

  9. Lots of luck in your new business. May Lord Ganesh And Goddess Laxmi bless you with great success.
    Lots of love.

  10. I was in a car accident last night and got major whiplash! The ambulance came along with firefighters and they told me to take some Tylenol or Ibuprofen for the pain but I quickly remembered that I had already bought your Truvani Tumeric pills and received them last week so I have been taking that instead and I can honestly say that although I had some soreness I was actually feeling pretty good. Vani I have been a follower from the beginning and you have totally changed my eating habits for the better! Thank you!
