Ultimate Breakfast On-The-Go! Easy Protein Oatmeal Packs

When I used to travel a lot for work, I’d always pack my own food to bring with me…While others ate junky fast food and hotel buffets (loaded with preservatives, additives, sugar, etc), I ate healthy. And it was super rewarding. Especially when it came to breakfast. I don’t like starting my day with a sugary processed breakfast. It puts me into a food coma. I need something full of nutrients to keep me focused and ready for the day. And that’s why I loved these easy “On-The-Go Protein Oatmeal Packs.”

Now that I’ve created my very own protein powder that is the cleanest on the market, I always use it to make these packs.

Truvani’s Plant Based Protein is organic, non-GMO, and has only six simple ingredients. You won’t find nasty additives, sugar, or harmful chemicals in our protein. And, it tastes better than any other protein powder I’ve tried!

But, don’t take my word for it. Here are real reviews from people who had the opportunity to taste it:

“The fact that my 2 year old loves it should say everything about this product! He kept asking for “mo.” – Corinn T.

“I’d give 2 thumbs up to this chocolate protein powder – all natural, very minimal ingredients, no artificial sweeteners and yet it tasted sweet and delicious. I’d definitely be happy to drink this for breakfast every morning!” – Stefani M.

“I’ve tried a lot of vegan protein powders and I am very impressed with Truvani protein powder. It taste great, mixes well and the texture is nice. I’ve had protein powders that tasted chalky before and was pleasantly surprised to find that this one is not chalky or gritty at all.” – Melinda A.

I know it tastes great. And that’s why we also offer a no questions asked “Love The Taste” Guarantee. Meaning, if you try our Protein Powder, and dislike the taste, just email our team and refund your order. Easy.

As you see, the entire Truvani team worked meticulously for months to get our protein powder just right, and we’re happy to say it tastes AMAZING mixed in only water – it’s not chalky or lumpy like other brands. Even though it’s great on it’s own, I love to use it in healthy recipes like these Protein Oatmeal Packs. Here’s the printable recipe:

Knowing that I have my own clean organic protein powder makes me so happy!

As I was involved in every step of its production, I know all about what went into it and how incredible this new product is. This is something that I never dreamed would happen.

Remember, I never set out to create my own product line, but after years of fighting against Big Food and forcing big companies to change, I knew I had to take matters into my own hands.

The only real way to make lasting change in our food system is to fight them head-to-head as a competitor. So, when you buy a Truvani product, you should know this:

You will get a remarkable product, with some of the best ingredients available, and you’ll also be helping us build a company that has a big vision of changing the food industry.

Truvani is still in its infancy (we have three products so far!) and those of you who have supported us this early on are helping us make more healthy products a reality. That’s why we like to reward our early supporters with preferential pricing:

Right now, you can get special “launch week” pricing when you order here

If you know anyone else who would be interested in trying the cleanest, best-tasting protein powder on the market, please share this post and recipe with them. Maybe you can blend up a Radiant Recharge Smoothie together and go relax at a pool. That sure sounds like a nice way to enjoy your Truvani Protein, doesn’t it?

So, what’s your favorite breakfast on-the-go? I’d love to hear about it in the comments below!

Xo,

Vani

  1. Yes, this is exactly what I do for breakfast. Or I grab a nutrition Lifebar from Evolv — totally healthy ingredients, not all that processed stuff and sugars and crazy ingredients I can’t read. Just pure nutrition. And every time I eat a bar, they feed a child. Great company!

    1. They aren’t the best. If you must have them then only once in awhile. It contains “organic flavors” which could be many different ingredients. It also says natural vanilla flavor for one of them. Why can’t true, pure vanilla be used? While one of them contains soy lecithin which is something Vani recommends avoiding along with artuficial and/or natural flavors even if the natural flavors are organic or claim to be.

    2. Oh my! I’m sorry. The other comment I made wasn’t for you. I’m really sorry about that. This was about something someone had mentioned on another post on the blog and said they found a plant based and organic protein bar and the brand was General Mills. Once I saw the ingredients there was artificial and natural flavors and vanilla flavoring including soy lecithin and uses high fructose corn syrup along with soy and canola oil.

I’m sorry though the comment was meant for someone else.

  2. Thank you SO MUCH for taking the next big step in this fight for all of us by creating your own top-of-the-line CLEAN food product line!

  3. Wow! So much better than the little cups of oatmeal from the espresso stand. Thank you for this great idea.

  4. I do this also, except, in the summer I’ll pack it in Tupperware and if I can at least get to a grocery store I’ll add some plain greek yogurt and almond milk that night and stash it in the mini fridge for a “overnight oatmeal” in the morning. It’s a little more refreshing in the heat. Love all your tips, Vani!

  5. Hi,

I am a dialysis patient. It presents several diet challenges. I am supposed to eat a great deal of protein. However, I am limited by how much phosphorus and potassium I can have. How much of these ingredients is there in your protein?

  6. My On the go breakfast is 3 tablespoons “Purity” coffee freshly ground and sr
brewed in my french press. Add raw heat cream from 100% grass -fed cows and 1 teaspoon organic cocoa powder mixed 50/50 with cinnamon. Stevia to taste for the cocoa and cinnamon which are very bitter. Energy and antioxidants to keep me going from noon to 6 on days when I eat only once. Purity is the best coffee available anywhere. It has literally changed my life and energy level. Super healthy mold free organic coffee.

    1. It depends since you may be using different brands than she used if you make the recipe. You would have to look at the nutrition label of the oats, the chocolate protein powder, and the dried fruit and measure it all if you need to know.

  7. I love what you’re doing and always love to read your emails and recipes, etc but your products are SO expensive! I remember when your first product came out, I was thrilled to be one of the first to support your company, but I just couldn’t afford to. I will continue to share your info and tell people about you and the work you do because it’s fantastic but sadly, cannot afford to try the products yet.

  8. Would love to use your protein powder for my pro sports team but we are only allowed to purchase NSF for sport products. Any plans to get certified?

  9. I love that you now have a protein powder. I was a little disappointed that the cocoa powder was alkalized. Do you plan on switching to non-alkalized in the future?

    1. Hi Susan! At first, we wanted to use Raw Cacao. Except, we encountered one problem… We believe in using the cleanest ingredients wherever possible. This means our products are subject to extensive testing, including heavy metals testing, and more. Now here’s the problem:

Every single source of Raw Cacao that we tested did not live up to the Truvani ingredient standard. Many failed the lead test, specifically. But when we tested our source of Alkalized Cocoa Powder, it passed the lead test. So, we had a decision to make… Risk potentially unsafe levels of lead OR alkalize our Cocoa powder.

      The decision was simple.

Vani has always said that not all processing is bad, and in this case, it was true: It’s almost as if Alkalizing the Cocoa powder purified it. The alkalization process is also known as “Dutch Processing.” This is when you use baking soda to strip the fat from Cacao beans. Even though alkalizing takes away some nutrients, I believe it was worth the sacrifice to create a product that wasn’t tainted by potentially unsafe levels of lead. The added benefit? It makes our new Organic Plant-Based Protein Powder taste amazing.

  10. Cannot access ingredients for Truvani protein powder. Would like to get info for my picky, peanut and all tree nuts allergic grandson. Can I get a sample sent to me to see if he will like it? He is not a good eater and although 6 foot he is so skinny and I worry about him getting proper nourishment. Thanks Vani. Great work. My best to you and continued success be yours.
    Eleanor Mason

  11. Vegan protein bar or boiled egg and toast with peanut butter.
I always carry a container of mixed nuts in my purse incase I get extra hungry.

  12. Can you recommend the best type of snacks and foods to pack for a ten hour road trip with two teen kids?
