I love to cool down on hot summer days with frozen treats like popsicles, but don’t buy most store-bought versions anymore because they are packed with tons of added sugar, high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, thickeners and fake flavors. I ate a TON of Bomb Pops when I was a kid… no wonder I had so many stomach aches back then! (FYI – Cellulose Gum has been linked to a variety of health issues – including intestinal inflammation).
Even those “Whole Fruit” and “Made With Real Fruit” bars are filled with added refined sugar, natural flavors, and emulsifiers like carrageenan… and despite all the pictures of fruit on the box, these are not real food.
Don’t waste your money on boxes full of chemicals like this, when it’s super easy to make frozen treats with healthy ingredients… even SUPERFOODS!
Here’s a great stainless steel popsicle mold to use (no plastic!), all you need is some good healthy ingredients and you’ve got SUPERFOOD POPS! Get the most nutritional punch per bite and try these new recipes!

What do you use for popsicle molds?
There’s a link in the article right before the SUPERFOOD recipes…. Here it is: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZAXMWIA/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=foobab-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B00ZAXMWIA&linkId=9ac89da0dc92fa6497e1a7655ec57a19
(Sorry it’s so long…. ) I hope I helped!
I get migrain headaches from so called natural flavors. Trying to find food even organic food
Without it is like finding a needle in a haystack.. what are we to do? Eating out is almost
Impossible. Thanks for your recipes they do help.
You must eliminate MSG and aspartame (artificial sweetener) from your diet. Buy only organic and read the ingredient label on all the food you purchase. Go to the website (truth in labeling.org).
You will get an education in all the chemical additives that have MSG in it. Good luck.
Why do you suggest straining the sweet green pops?
Vani wrote: If you do not have a juicer, you can use a blender and strain the liquid through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
So, a blender is not going to remove the pulp like a juicer would. Hope that helps.
Those look good enough to eat! Lol!
Two of the recipes use coconut milk. Any suggestions if one does not tolerate coconut, please? Will other nut milks work?
Thanks!
Our son is also allergic to coconut milk. We discovered flax milk, which has worked well in everything I’ve put it in.
such a great tool for the kitchen, funny cuz i bought this item a few weeks ago too. thanks for the wonderful recipes.❤️ i am working on a few of my own using pure therapeutic grade essential oils.
Be careful of using essential oils (even therapeutic grade) because they can be extremely potent. Be especially careful using them with children as their smaller bodies can not tolerate them as ours can. I love essential oils and have found many benefits from using them. I have also read articles about being very careful with EO and children even when using them for aromatherapy. I’m not saying don’t use them. Hopefully you are being very cautious and perhaps getting professional advice.
What are the maximum carbs n these bars.
How many carbs. in these pops?
Do the popsicle molds have inside non stick coating . I clicked on link in the article and it took me to Amazon to purchase molds. Under the comments section of the product, a consumer mentioned molds have non stick inside coating.
Something tasted off a bit. That’s what I get for eating sweets growing up. Still liked it though.
Your thoughts on so delicious coconut yogurt
I’m new to the site. Thank you for sharing great recipes!! I love popsicles, but gave them up long ago, sugar & chemical storm. I’m going to try all of these!!
